Prvine hut is a unit of the Curricular and Extracurricular Activities Centre, which opened its doors in 2020. It is inhabited by school and pre-school kids from the whole country, who spend one week there, and who get to know the characteristics of Zasavje and its heritage through a diverse program.
The hut has 64 beds in two-, three- or four-person rooms, all having their own private bathroom. The building includes other rooms as well: a small hall and big hall (50/70 seats), two dining rooms (for 80 people altogether), a wardrobe with a dryer for shoes and a spacious terrace. There is also a private ski piste in the immediate vicinity, as well as also a big parking area and facilities where the buses can turn around. The near-by Čemšeniška planina offers an excellent view of the surrounding landscape, while the forests below it offer home to various animal and plant species. The natural surroundings of the facility that does not include modern infrastructure offers a pristine contact with nature and a return to the roots of natural movement for humans. There are also various hiking and cycling trails marked in the surroundings.
Prvine hut is less than 10 km away from the Trojane highway.
